Grains of Hope Packaging Event
The GRAINS OF HOPE FOOD PACKING EVENT on Sunday, March 18th in Pompton Plains at the PV Middle School on Newark Pompton Tpke. Please sign up ASAP at The worker time slots available are:

Worker C-1=  11:45-1:30
Worker C-2=  1:15-3:00
Worker C-3=   2:45-4:30
Worker C-4=   4:15-6:00

Teams working together will be assembling the meals, weighing, sealing, sorting, and boxing meal packages as a group. 10 or 11 people will be grouped at each station. You can come with a group or you can come alone and make some new friends! We need 800 volunteers in order to package 175,000 meals which will put us at 1 million meals packages in 7 years! 50% will stay local at the NJ Food Bank and 50% will ship to Haiti. is open as of today for the partnering organizations of which our FRCLP is one. However, on 2/10 it will open up to the public and fill up quickly! Please don't wait to sign-up. Bring your family and  friends. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes as you will be on your feet roughly 90 minutes.
